How to book: There is free admission to Saturday afternoon lectures but an admission charge of £4. 00p for non- HA members and £2.50p for students at Monday lectures. Associate membership of the branch is £15 per year. Joint meetings with the Bournemouth Natural Science Society on Saturday afternoons begin at 2.30pm at 39 Christchurch Rd, BH1 3NS (Parking is available at the BNSS and in nearby streets. 1a, 1b and 1c (Derby Rd) bus stops on Christchurch Rd.). Monday evening lectures take place at 7.30pm at the Cottonwood Boutique Hotel, Grove Rd, BH1 3AP, just off East Overcliff Drive. Free parking is available at the Cottonwood, Ocean View and Bay View Hotels, and also on East Overcliff Drive, overlooking the sea, from 5.00pm. 1a, 1b and 1c (Derby Rd/St Swithun’s Roundabout) bus stops on Christchurch Rd. From February there will be a change in venue to the Monday evening lectures - they will now take place at the Hinton Firs Hotel , 9 Manor Rd Bournemouth BH1 3ET. Parking is available in the hotel's two car parks and also in Manor Rd itself. The use of buses 1a, 1b,and 1c still applies.
