Following our successful survey into the state of history in English primary schools in 2010/11, the Historical Association is undertaking a full survey of history in primary schools in 2011/12. Last year your responses fed into a report that was widely circulated to interested parties as well as government.
This year, in the climate of curriculum review, we need your responses more than ever in order to build up clear evidence of trends as well as to highlight new issues. We cannot urge you strongly enough to help us to help you make your voices heard.
The survey will only take a few minutes of your time to complete and will help us to provide a representative picture of the current state of primary history. Please take a few minutes to fill out the survey by clicking on the link above or below. You do not have to be an HA member to fill it in and we welcome the views of trainee teachers as well as experienced staff. Please spread the word and urge your colleagues in other schools to also help us to help you. Thank you for your support.
