The annual conference of the Social History Society will be held from the 3rd to the 5th of April 2009 at the University of Warwick. The conference does not have a single theme, but is organised in five strands:

• Deviance, Inclusion and Exclusion
• Life-cycles and Life-styles
• Global Markets and Social Orders
• Representation, Memory and the Self
• Spaces and Places
