Masters in Teaching and Learning

Launched on 7 March 2008, the Masters in Teaching and Learning (MTL) is a new practice-based, masters-level professional qualification.

The MTL will be made available in 638 National Challenge schools across the country. The north-west will be the first region in the country to offer the MTL - to all newly qualified teachers who start work in September 2009.

The TDA will be working with higher education institutions and schools across the country to develop this national programme.
