'The Journey' Exhibition at the Holocaust Centre

The Journey is a new, permanent exhibition for primary-aged children. It tells the stories of children's experiences of the Holocaust. The visit covers history, PSHE and Citizenship areas of the curriculum and children will have the opportunity to move through a fully-immersive space, where they can handle objects, listen to sounds and memories of the time. Each room is period, consisting of a German home, schoolroom, street, tailor's shop, hiding space, carriage and refuge. Children will also get the opportunity to meet a survivor and ask questions.
