Would you like the opportunity to think creatively about your geography and history teaching and how this can support learning across the wider curriculum? Are you enthusiastic about developing primary geography and history and keen to be part of a growing initiative that wants to inspire all young people? If so, then this is the one-day conference for you!

Workshops
Note: The workshop line up is different at London and Manchester.
London Workshops
Delegates will attend three out of the following six workshops during the day.
- Dilemmas in history
- How do children get better at history? Putting progression at the heart of effective teaching and learning
- Ensuring the most effective history teaching in primary schools
- Mapping Identity
- Encouraging the use of geographical vocabulary
- Exploring personal geographies
Manchester Workshops
Delegates will attend three out of the following six workshops during the day.
- Past, present, future: how to plan a cross-curricular investigation of your local area
- Now that's what I call geography!
- How to be a geography explorer of your local world
- What is 'living history' and can it really help to build historical, social and geographical understanding?
- What was the greatest invention of the twentieth century? - Doing significance with KS2
- Encouraging thinking skills in primary history
