Ask an Indus Expert

1) Question an Indus Valley Archaeologist!
Harappa.com is running an 'Ask the Expert' forum for anyone interested in this ancient civilisation, with an illustrious panel Indus Valley experts including Prof. Asko Parapola, Dr. Iravatham Mahadevan, (Indus Script), Dr. Richard Meadow, Prof. Shereen Ratnagar, Prof. Rita Wright (archaeologists) and others.
Primary schools who teach the topic and school students of any age are cordially invited to send in questions by January 3lst! They can be questions your students have already come up with in their work during last year, or ask them to choose some questions this term! (No reason why teachers cannot send in your own questions either!) The questions need to arise from what children have learnt already and what they would like to find out more about!
Email "Teach Indus" - hec@harappa.com - with your questions and they will be submitted. Answers will be published at http://www.harappa.com/ in February-March, 2010. Ask away!
Possible topics: The way of life in Indus Cities! The Rulers of the Indus Civilisation! The undeciphered Indus Script! The Decline of the Civilisation! How do archaeologists know....? Why do they think that......? What proof is there to show that......?
