About the IJHLTR

In 2000 the International Journal of Historical Learning, Teaching and Research[IJHLTR] was founded to provide an international medium for reporting on History Education from Early Years to Higher Education. IJHLTR it is now publishing its seventeenth volume. In 2003 we also founded the History Educators International Research Network to hold an annual international conference on History Education. We meet in Brazil from 14-17 July 2012
HEIRNET and IJHLTR HEIRNET conference attenders are given access to the two on-line copies of IJHLTR published in the year prior to the conference.
IJHLTR and HEIRNET are proud to be centrally involved in the discussions and debate that are the meat and drink of History Education. Accordingly, we were delighted that the Historical Association of the United Kingdom became the publisher of IJHLTR in 2009, see the attached downloadable edition of IJHLTR 9.1 - January 2009.
