HA Webinar: Weaving an Irish dimension into the primary history curriculum
Diversity in the primary history curriculum

Event Type: CPD
Takes Place: 7th July 2021
Time: 4:00pm - 5:00pm
Venue: Online
Description: This webinar will consider the significance of an Irish dimension within the context of diversity. This dimension has typically been neglected which raises issues with respect to challenging an Anglo-centric perception of the past, our notion of 'these islands', alongside themes such as migration. The session will include suggestions as to when this approach is appropriate and will be exemplified by activities which can be applied in the classroom.
