We are delighted to award the 2010 Medlicott Medal to Professor Peter Hennessy for outstanding services to history. As an academic historian, journalist and broadcaster Peter Hennessy's work has consistently provoked debate and enlivened the world of constitutional history and modern political history.

As 2010 marks the 25th anniversary of the Medlicott Award, the Association's Governing Council wished to mark another outstanding historian, Lord Asa Briggs. Lord Briggs will be accepting a very special Life Time in History Award.
