Ancient Egypt

This workshop took place at the HA Annual Conference May 2016 in Harrogate.

Alf Wilkinson, Consultant & Author and Ben Ballin, Consultant to the Geographical Association

This session provides some practical suggestions on how you might combine the Key Stage 2 history unit Ancient Civilisation, the geography of Egypt and global learning into a meaningful scheme of work. We use enquiry learning, critical thinking and stories to explore past and present issues in order to help our pupils make greater sense of the Egyptians in the Key Stage 2 classroom. In partnership with the Geographical Association and Global Learning Programme
