As you no doubt know, the New Secondary Curriculum has had, and continues to have, a dramatic impact on the teaching and learning of history in schools and on teacher training and possibly on History teacher demand and supply. For the last two years the Historical Association has been providing support for history departments and helping them adopt and adapt to the opportunities offered by the NSC. The TDA has provided the funds for us to run a one-day conference, specifically for all History ITE providers in England, about the New Secondary Curriculum and its impact on Initial Teacher Training.
The Conference took place in London, at the London Canal Museum, Kings Cross, please find attached resources from the workshops!
