In partnership with Historic Royal Palaces, the Historical Association are delighted to announce this event for primary and secondary teachers delving into the life of Queen Victoria. Discover the private woman behind the crown and her journey from a girl of 18 to the grandmother of Europe. This event will focus particularly on the concept of the Indian Empire, exploring the complexities of British rule in India and Victoria’s role within it. 

The after-school event will take place at Kensington Palace on Thursday 21 November and will be free for teachers excluding a small holding fee. As part of the event a private view of the Victoria: Woman and Crown exhibition will be included. Book your place now!
