Branches

By Simon Brown, published 3rd December 2015

We have more than 50 branches throughout the UK who collectively put on a programme of around 350 history events every year. Branch events are open to members and non-members of the HA. HA branch events are a great way to socialise and meet other people from your local community who share an interest in and love for history.

Through our branch programmes we offer a huge variety of historical topics. We have everything from the life in first century Rome to life in London’s Jewish East End and from an exploration of medieval chivalric codes to punk fanzines in the 1970s. Whether you prefer social, political, economic, cultural or religious history in a local or global context; there’s a good chance your local branch has something to offer you.
