Ufton Court, an Elizabethan Grade 1 Manor House between Reading and Newbury, is an inspirational centre for schools. The Ufton team lead residential and day visits for KS2 that aim to give children a passion for history. 

Residential Visits

Enjoy sole overnight occupancy of the inspiring Tudor Manor over 1 to 4 nights. Programmes offer a wide choice of activities to create an action packed visit that could include a Tudor Banquet, dancing, farming, role play and discovery of priest holes. Children are guaranteed to go home with memories that will last.

Day Visits

Day Visits at Ufton Court are led by a team of enthusiastic and specialist staff. The ‘Pick and Mix' Day Visits  run between 10.30 and 2pm and give you a choice of activities across History, Environmental Science and Outdoor Learning, and the opportunity to create a completely unique day.

Set programmes are offered as ‘Themed Bestsellers' and include Tudor Explorers and Medieval Warfare.

Want to stay longer? ‘Extended Day Visits' can run between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm with banquets, archery and a high-drama raid on the house to choose from, schools can pack all the fun of a residential visit into a single day.

Although primarily aimed at Key Stage 2 pupils, Ufton Court has programmes available for all ages and will adapt a programme for specific needs and age ranges.
