Conference 2027: join us at the RSC for Richard II
What makes a King: the crown or the head that wears it?
We’re delighted to announce a special addition to the Historical Association Conference 2027 programme: a Friday evening visit to the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Conference delegates will have the opportunity to see Elizabeth Debicki take on the title role in Richard II, directed by Daniel Raggett. Exploring power, conspiracy and the downfall of a king, Shakespeare’s history play should make for a fitting evening alongside a weekend of history.
We have 65 tickets reserved exclusively for resale to conference delegates, so early booking is recommended when registration opens in January.
If you’re interested in joining us for the performance, you can register your interest now by emailing conference@history.org.uk.
We look forward to welcoming you to Stratford-upon-Avon for Conference 2027.
