Please note this webinar was recorded in May 2022, before the death of Queen Elizabeth II. 

Reference will be made to the study of possible significant individuals at Key Stage 1 such as Queen Elizabeth I and Queen Elizabeth II. Various individual monarchs and types of monarchy will also be featured from across Key Stage 2 content including from ancient civilisations, ancient Greece, the Roman Empire, Anglo-Saxons, Vikings and the curricular options of Islamic Civilisations, the Maya and Benin. Links will be made to the optional study of the development of the English and then British monarchy from 1066 onwards.
