Senior Administrator & Branch Coordinator

This varied, challenging and interesting job combines office management tasks with supporting the CEO in the organisation of special events and projects and dealing with governance issues. The person appointed will also be the first point of communication and help for the many committed volunteers who run the Historical Association’s 48 Branches.

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated individual with extensive experience in charity administration, who is happy to multi-task and to pitch in with our small busy team.

The HA is a busy membership charity with offices by Kennington Tube Station in South London. It has a small staff (6 full-time and 3 part-time). To find out more about the HA, visit www.history.org.uk.

Job overview

Location: Kennington, London SE11

Responsible to: The Chief Executive Officer

Salary: £27,000 Plus 6% pension contribution

Contract: 18 months fixed-term

Hours: Full-time

Closing Date: 10am, Monday 28 January 2019

Interviews: Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 February

Main function of job: To support the CEO, ensure the smooth running of the office and support the volunteer network.
