The world beyond the classroom...

Learning outside the classroom is not just about making visits. It is, quite simply about the world beyond the classroom, whether that be the places, historic sites, museums, monuments that we visit as part of our teaching, or whether it is creating a human timeline, re-enacting a battle or digging trenches on the school playing field, or taking a walk into the locality to understand how the landscape has affected, or been affected by, people and events in the past.
