Description: The visit will include an account of the church’s history and its notable internal features, including the remarkable Pinwill Sisters’ woodwork. The church’s story will be set within the wider context of Laira’s growth, with particular attention to the early transport links that saw the GWR works transform the area. We will also explore the significant early developments in aerial transportation along the Plym Estuary.
