Description: This session examines how to articulate and evidence a clear and ambitious curriculum intent for history under the new Ofsted framework. It will emphasise genuine curriculum ambition over performative compliance, helping subject leaders and teachers refine their curriculum rationale. The session draws on exemplary research and best-practice compilations, ensuring consistency with both disciplinary rigour and a coherent progression of historical knowledge and skills.
