Description: This is an opportunity for A level History students to explore new approaches to teaching Soviet History. Opportunity to engage in content and exam skills. In the first part of the day, there will be three lectures from academic experts. The second part will include an interactive seminar session in which participants will discuss some primary sources that shed light on specific aspects of Soviet history. The event will conclude with a roundtable discussion at which participants can also ask more general questions about Soviet history or the way in which it is being taught and researched at university.
