Stone Age to Iron Age

The National Curriculum for history at Key Stage 2 requires pupils to study a broad sweep of British history. This starts with a unit of study examining changes in Britain from the Stone Age to the Iron Age. Examples of the kinds of things you could study include late Neolithic hunter-gatherers and early farmers, settlements such as Skara Brae, Bronze Age religion, technology and travel, monuments such as Stonehenge,  Iron Age hill forts and settlements,  tribal kingdoms, farming, art and culture.

In this section you'll find resources to support this unit of study. We'll add further resources as they are submitted.
