Themes and concepts over time
At Key Stage 2, pupils are expected to undertake a chronological study of a period of history beyond 1066. This could either be a significant turning point in history after 1066 such as the Magna Carta, Industrial Revolution, First World War or Second World War. Alternatively, it could be a study of a theme over a long period of time, such as the changing power of monarchs, leisure, technology, crime and punishment or medicine among others.
We'll continue to add resources to support this unit of study as they are submitted.
