Magicborn

Review by Jess
It was a truly enchanting tale which also held lots of historical fiction, the atmospheric magic made it breath taking to read and really dig into the story. I also liked how the past and present of Tempest and Thomas intertwining, really diving into how they got where they were.

I loved the sense of a strong female lead too, making it almost satisfying to read. I also really enjoyed how Tempest and Thomas were prince and princess twins, you don't see that often. I really loved how the description didn't sugar-coat anything, it was fair and true, just how you would want a book. I love Shakespeare and his books, so have some Shakespeare flavour in this book was really refreshing. I loved Coriel and her character too. I would read it again and rate it a 10/10!
