Charlotte argues that the biggest failure of the Age of Revolutions was the Chartist Movement. Not even called a “revolution”, the Chartist Movement failed to gather enough momentum, caused partially by a lack of unity, that, according to Charlotte, it has left no real lasting impact on society. This, she says, makes it the greatest failure of its time.
