Interview with Julian Lynch, barrister at Cornwall Street Chambers

Julian Lynch did his undergraduate degree in History, did a one year Law conversion and is now a barrister at Cornwall Street Chambers specialising in criminal law. He feels that his History degree gives him a wider depth of experience which helps him as a lawyer as history is about looking under the surface at motivation, asking why and thinking critically, which are all things that he is required to do in the courtroom. His advice would be to do what you love and broaden your mind, because that’s what he did and he has never looked back!
