Supporting quality in primary history and geography
The Ofsted 2025 EIF and report card system are now in schools. The Deep Dive has gone but does this mean that subject expertise no longer matters? In fact the opposite is true. Subject remains at the heart of the framework as much as ever and expectations upon subject leaders to develop “expertise” and be able to monitor and disseminate (including to senior leaders) is increased.
The Geographical Association and Historical Association are pleased to be working together to offer this one-day online course on 6 March, supporting primary subject leaders in reviewing the quality of their curriculum and practice.
-
Why should I take part in this course?
Subject leaders must show subject expertise, they must be able to show evidence of subject-specific CPD and senior leaders must understand subject nuance. Whether you are a senior leader looking to get to grips with subject nuance in history and geography, or you are a history or geography subject leader looking to get to grips with what will be expected of you, then this course is for you!
