In this article I will describe a G&T museum-based project which we have just trialled with three primary schools in the Ashton Bedminster primary school cluster in Bristol. It was a joint initiative between Bristol’s Museums, Galleries & Archives service, Bristol’s Children and Young People’s Service (CY PS) and a small collection of primary schools. Central to the project was pupil voice as an educational driver and as a means of enriching, enhancing and empowering the education of gifted pupils in history in an inclusive educational context. As such, it played a key part in the individualised learning entitlement of the pupils involved, set against a wider Every Child Matters agenda.
