With school budgets as they are it is amazing that any primary schools can fund history trips to the British Museum [BM]. The education department of the British Museum [BM] is well aware of these constraints and tries to meet the needs of teachers, parents/carers and children in a wide variety of ways.

Learning Department of the British Museum School Visits

For school visits, the BM has its own constraints. These include the need to limit the number of school groups that are in the galleries at any one time. For this reason, they ask you to book up a term in advance. The Education Department staff work hard to make all of their activities and resources clear and engaging.
