All the Bad Apples

Lyra's review
I think the most interesting character was Mandy because of her life story and how she set off to break the curse for her daughter. I didn’t like the dad as he was controlling and mean, he didn’t care about his is daughters’ well-being. I learnt a lot about the past from this book specifically mother and baby homes and what they did. The plot of the book was exciting but extremely sad. The thing that stands out the most in this book is the love for one and other between the sisters. I would recommend this book to my friends who are hard-core readers as it is exciting but some people may find it hard to read as the theme is quite ‘adult’. Overall I think this is a page-turning, educational book.

Maisie's review
An extraordinary book about witches, ghosts, family curse and all round superstition. It explores events on the LGBT community, giving this story a modern day twist. I would definitely say that this book is so underrated and really should be a bigger seller, definitely would recommend to anybody looking for an action-filled, feminist novel!!
