HA membership offers more than just your subscription to The Historian. As a member can you enjoy a range of benefits designed to help you explore all you love about history. Learn and expand your knowledge with a subscription to The Historian magazine.
Look at history through a new lens with The Historian. As a member not only do you receive quarterly print editions as they are published, but you can also access hundreds of digitised past articles from The Historian from the last 3 decades online. Discover hundreds of history talks every year through the HA’s local branch network.
As a member you can attend almost all local branch talks and events for free. Many of our local branches will be running a blended programme this autumn, providing you with a continued opportunity to see some of the great lectures that take place throughout the network. As a member you can access our Virtual Branch plus a free subject knowledge webinar every month, with upcoming topics including India and the Second World War: recovering experiences and emotions, female slave-ownership in eighteenth- and nineteenth- century Britain and Gypsies, Roma and Travellers through history.
