Depth studies

Both GCSE and A-Level history courses enable students to undertake depth studies. Depth studies enable students to focus on a substantial and coherent short time span, usually of less than 50 years. The studies enable students to gain understanding of the complexities of a society, ruling party or historical situation, issue or event and the interplay of different aspects within it. Sometimes, students will also need to examine interpretations relating to depth studies.

In this section, you'll find resources to support both GCSE and A-Level depth studies. We'll add further resources as they are submitted.
