The African-American Experience in the Vietnam War

By James Lamont, Sam Davidson, Alexander Starr, Ryan Taylor

Four students dive into a revolutionary perspective of the Vietnam war, told through the eyes of a Black veteran. By looking at context, conscription, conflict, and civil rights, we explore the overlooked African-American experience in Vietnam. This supplements the AQA Conflict and Tension in Asia 1950-1975 course, and 1950s-70s America.
