Dr Sarah Longair discusses how she and her colleagues have used their own research to inspire and support  a network of local secondary history teachers and schools decolonise their curricula through good collaborative working practice. Sarah highlights the importance of offering choice and flexibility when working with teachers in order to respond to and follow up their particular areas of interest and need. She also discusses how HEI and school history collaboration should be seen as an important enrichment opportunity for both teachers and academics with positive outcomes for pupils.
